Cascade Ice Review & Giveaway + Peach Mango Mimosa Shooters Recipe

One of the things I enjoyed most about IFBC was the opportunity to sample new food and drinks.

Cascade Ice Sparkling Water Review | Inspiration KitchenSo when I sampled both the Coconut and Pumpkin Pie flavors of Cascade Ice Sparkling Water, I was hooked!  When I find something I like, I love to share it with you.  :-)

It was the perfect opportunity to work with the kind folks at Cascade Ice, who have generously offered to sponsor a Giveaway to one lucky winner!  As part of this Giveaway, the winner will receive one box (24 bottles) of assorted Cascade Ice Sparkling Water bottles!

Let me tell you about them!

Cascade Ice is naturally flavored sparking water with juice that has zero calories and zero fat.  It’s also free of sodium, gluten and caffeine too!

Cascade Ice sent me 5 sample flavors to review:

  1. Cranberry Pomegranate
  2. Pink Grapefruit
  3. Lemonade
  4. Pomegranate Berry
  5. Peach Mango

Cranberry Pomegranate

The Cranberry Pomegranate is not only a gorgeous color, but a great flavor combination!  I loved drinking this one straight up, no extra ingredients required.

Pink Grapefruit

The first thing I noticed with the Pink Grapefruit was that it had a very fruity fragrance that made my mouth water!  It was almost as if I’d cut into a fresh grapefruit and took a deep breath.  I tried it before mixing it into a cocktail, and it has a very refreshing flavor that would be great on a hot summer day.

The Pink Grapefruit Greyhound I made, reminded me of sitting on a beach in Jamaica sipping on a festive cocktail (and you can hardly taste the Vodka – the pink grapefruit is the star here). It was like a Cocktail Light without an overly tart grapefruit taste. I’ll definitely have the Pink Grapefruit flavor again – we loved it.

Lemonade

The Lemonade was one of our very favorite flavors.  It’s lemon-y and slightly tart without being overly sweet.  You could have an entire pitcher of this sitting on the porch on a hot summer day. A keeper!

Pomegranate Berry

The Pomegranate Berry was my least favorite flavor.  There were two things that I noticed about it:  (1) it had a powdered drink taste to it; not something you’d expect from a bottled sparkling water and (2) for my palate, it had an odd aftertaste that I didn’t care for.

Peach Mango Mimosa

Oh my gosh!!! I know I told you above that the Lemonade was my favorite.  And, it was.  Until I met Peach Mango.  Yum, yum!  So sweet, juicy and perfectly mixed peach + mango for summertime.  This one is delish!  After trying it, I just had to make a Mimosa out of it.

This one is so good, it makes your mouth water as you drink it!  It’s like biting into a juicy peach.  It’s really sweet and reminiscent of summer’s plump, juicy peaches and mangos.  You know the flavor.

I call these little darlings my Peach Mango Mimosa Shooters.  You get to drink your champagne and eat it too!  Don’t be fooled.  It’s absolutely lovely.  The sugared rim adds that extra special touch and we loved this.  Definitely a must try.

Thanks Johlene! I’m so glad you stopped by, even though you aren’t eligible. I don’t like the rules either – bummer! Have a wonderful week – and if you get a chance to try the Peach Mango – do it! It’s so good!

The Peach Mango is fabulous! One of my favorite flavors. You’ll have to make the mimosa part yourself though, because the flavors are non-alcoholic :-). Good luck!

Thanks Cindy! They were fun Sparkling Waters to play with. You can drink them alone (we loved almost all of them), but they’re also fun to mix into a cocktail!

I’m most excited about trying the lemonade flavor. I have a weak spot for anything that is lemon flavored.

I really want to try the lemonade flavor.I am simple but my 4 kids and my husband would go for exotic flavors.
